Speech Title: Applications of 5G and Internet of Things (IoT) in the Energy Sector

Abstract: The Internet of Things (IoT) is used to enable cost-effective, efficient energy distribution in smart energy. IoT-based solutions and devices are used in conjunction with sustainable, renewable energy sources to create this hybrid energy system. Beyond intelligent electrical grids and metering, smart energy systems include diverse energy sources and kinds, production and delivery infrastructures, operational processes and use cases, as well as a variety of energy sources and meters. Smart Meters based on the Internet of Things (IoT) improve energy distribution, lower operational costs, and provide better customer service by providing a clear picture of power usage. Smart meters give you up-to-the-minute information on your energy usage and supply. Real-time usage data assists utility providers in deciding how, where, and when to distribute energy for maximum benefit and to reduce interruptions. Better accounting and billing transparency allows clients to save money while also becoming environmentally conscious by altering their energy usage.
